Visitors Center

Have you been to the historic Little Red Caboose in the center of town? Our Visitors Center will help you find what you need to plan your next adventure on the North Oregon Coast. We are 100 percent powered by volunteer energy. Welcome to the North People’s Coast.

Volunteering in the Visitors Center

The Rockaway Beach Visitors Center is always looking for a few good volunteers for the Visitors Center at 103 1st Avenue. Volunteers must love Rockaway Beach, Tillamook County, and be willing to commit one morning or afternoon (3.5-hour shifts) a week to provide assistance, give directions and recommendations to Rockaway’s thousands of visitors each year.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Visitors Center or email info@rockawaybeach.net

 Available in the Visitors Center:

  • Maps for: Rockaway Beach, Tillamook County, the Oregon Coast, and the state
  • Visitors Information material from the Oregon Coast Visitors Association, Travel Oregon, the Mile by Mile, Oregon Coast magazine, and many more
  • Brochures on whale watching, the aquarium, attractions, parks, wine tasting, recreation, biking, kayaking, theaters, spas, tours — everything you want to know.
